Hi, I’m Rebecca!
The Artist behind Sugar Moon Designs
Sugar Moon Designs started as a love letter to handmade jewelry: polymer clay earrings, bracelets, rings, and little everyday treasures, each shaped and baked by hand in small batches. Every piece begins with conditioning the clay and mixing custom colors before it’s shaped, baked, and finished — one at a time, no shortcuts, no mass production.
Before clay, my creative world was makeup artistry and special effects. I wanted to find a way to express that same creativity through something people could wear every day, and that background shaped how I see color, texture, and detail — I still approach a piece of jewelry the way I’d approach a face: layering, blending, building something with intention. I draw inspiration from the 70s, books, trending color palettes, florals, and whimsical designs — which is where the cottagecore heart of this shop comes from.
I design and sell everything myself, from the first sketch to the final photo, whether you’re finding me online, at a market in North Carolina, or on a shelf at one of my consignment partners. Every piece is made to be affordable without cutting corners on quality — that’s the whole philosophy behind Sugar Moon.
Thank you for being a part of my artistic journey, and for supporting a small, handmade business. It means more than you know! 🫶
xoxo,
Rebecca
